My name is Kai. I’m a new paralegal and longtime law and policy nerd. I have a BA in Political Science with specializations in Public Policy and International Politics. As of May 2026, I received a Paralegal Studies certificate. I’ve worked in bankruptcy, real estate, local government, and criminal defense.
I started Legally Strange as a way to demystify the law and legal system (and maybe to vent a little). By sharing my thoughts and experiences, I want to make law more accessible and comprehensible to everyone — attorneys and non-attorneys alike. I’ve always thought that the first step to increasing access is raising the baseline knowledge. Information is power, after all.
